How You Can Help

Club Leader/Assistant Leader: Are you a leader? Share your leadership skills with the children and families in Camp Fire clubs. Plan and lead activities that strengthen families and build caring, confident youth and future leaders. Clubs meet weekly or monthly. Afternoon, evening or weekend meetigs with a commitment of nine months.

Club Educator: Do you know something no one else does? Lend your expertise to the youth and families in Camp Fire clubs. Join our pool of club educators who visit clubs by request to lead meetings on a subject area. If you don't have an area of expertise but would like to work with clubs, we will train you in our curriculum to assist leaders by guest leading club meetings.

Adventure Fitness Volunteer: Do you want to be inspiring, while being inspired? Work with a club of primarily blind and low vision children and teens. Volunteers participate with the youth in outdoor adventures and recreation activities. Volunteers are also needed to provide transportation for this group.

Groundskeeper: Do you love the great outdoors? Spend time in a natural setting while helpig to maintain our camp. Camp Shawnee is located just north of Parkville, MO. Volunteer duties include light maintenance, brush removal and mowing.

Office Assistant: Do you keep the wheels of progress turning? Help with a variety of office duties including mailings, filing and phone calls.

Alumni: Were you a Camp Fire kid? Do you know what WoHeLo means? Join with other Camp Fire Alumi to increase Camp Fire's public awareness and community support.
